Our committees are appointed to meet the strategic goals of NJENA and serve as the experts for emergency nursing in the state of New Jersey. An overview of existing committees is as follows:

Government Affairs Committee

The Government Affairs Committee is responsible for monitoring legislation important to emergency nurses at both the State and National levels. We are always looking for members to join our committee and become active advocates. Members are encouraged to sign up at the national website at ENA EN411 Advocacy Engagement Page to stay informed of all the latest developments or look up legislation of interest.

Informatics Committee

The Informatics Committee is responsible for a number of activities, each with an opportunity for members to participate.

Professional Development Committee

The charge of the NJENA Professional Development Committee is to solicit nominations for NJENA State Council leadership and achievement awards, select award winners, and present awards annually at the NJENA March State Council Meeting. The committee will assist with the applications to nominate New Jersey Candidates for national ENA Awards. Also, the committee will manage the NJENA Scholarship program.
