About Us

The NJ State Council of ENA (NJENA) has a primary mission to offer emergency nurses quality education. In addition, we have a number of advocacy efforts designed to educate our legislators at the local, state and national level about issues important to emergency nurses.

We are also currently engaged in patient advocacy programs with our colleagues in the EMS community and through the NJ Hospital Association. Injury prevention is another area of opportunity. Our members are actively engaged in car seat safety, bicycle and pedestrian safety, gun safety and the dangers of drinking and drugged or drowsy driving! If you are interested in becoming involved with these or other projects, please contact us.

Please join us at a chapter or state council meeting - all interested in emergency nursing are welcome!  See the calendar page for locations and other details.
