The New Jersey Emergency Nurses Association is issuing a call for nominations for the 2011 Awards presented in 2012. This is the opportunity to recognize innovators, leaders, and those who continually go above and beyond the call of duty in the emergency nursing profession for the year preceding the NJENA Emergency Care Conference held annually in March.

The mission of the Emergency Nurses Association is to advocate for patient safety and excellence in emergency nursing practice. In keeping with this mission, the New Jersey Emergency Nurses Association (NJENA) is offering Professional Development Scholarships to NJENA members.

Purpose
- To solicit nominations for State Council leadership and achievement awards and to assist with the applications to nominate New Jersey candidates for National Awards.
- To develop criteria for eligibility and an application process for State Council scholarships, solicit candidates for the scholarships, and assist ENA member to apply for National scholarships.
- To identify professional development opportunities for the membership.
