On behalf of your chapter officers I would like to wish everyone a happy and healthy new year. I am honored to be your 2014 chapter president. My goals as president are to offer quality education opportunities, continue scholarship drawings for TNCC, ENPC, CEN & CPEN registrations and to increase ENA membership.
Please mark your calendars with our education and meeting days. Our first chapter meeting will be held during NJENA’s annual Emergency Care Conference in Atlantic City on March 20th. The first education day is scheduled for June 24th at the Kraft Center in Paramus. We will have a second education day in the fall and a dinner meeting in early December, dates are being finalized. The first state meeting for 2014 is scheduled for January 15th a RWJ Hamilton. Please see www.njena.org for directions.
Please remind your colleagues to up-date their contact information on the national ENA web site. Communications will be primarily via e-mail.
Please take a look at the new NJENA web site, www.njena.org, for current information regarding state and chapter events. The national web site, www.ena.org, has a plethora of information and resources for you. Please make a habit of checking these web sites regularly.
Please feel free to contact me or any of the chapter officers at any time with questions, concerns, or suggestions. I look forward to meeting many northern chapter members at both our local and state events.
