Strategic Plan

These goals are designed to be actualized by the NJ ENA in a fluid and dynamic way. The goals were designed with both short and long term goals with measurable criteria.

Clinical Priorities

The clinical priorities will be aligned with the National Clinical Priorities:

1. Overcrowding
2. Ease of Practice:
   1. The care of psychiatric patients in the emergency department.
   2. Safer work environment - Violence in the emergency department.
   3. Evidence-based initiatives

Strategic Goals

• Promote educational scholarships and awards at national and state level.
• Identify and execute support for mentorship into leadership at state and national level.
• Implement initiatives to facilitate communication to and between NJ ENA members.
